Welcome to my teaching portfolio!
I'm excited to share with you my work as a teacher, and the work of the young women in my physics and calculus courses. My hope is that you will gain insight into how I approach teaching what are often considered to be some of the hardest courses in high school, so be sure to check out the Philosophy and Classroom pages. And see what these young women can bring to the traditionally male dominated fields by looking at the Showcase page!
Highlights: Philosophy: My beliefs about and approach to education, broken into 3 main sections:
Classroom: Pictures and examples of what students can expect to do in my classes. I don't have a classroom of my own, so I've highlighted the sorts of assignments that exemplify the culture I work to develop in my classroom. Resource Library: A collection of the resources I've gathered to use in my calculus and physics classes. Graduate Coursework: An annotated transcript of my work as a graduate student in Michigan State University's Master's of Arts in Education (MAED) program. |
